The Women's Program serves to empower women in East San José by building their social networks, connecting them to resources and information, increasing their access to the Internet using our Computer Technology Center, providing health information and education through our Health Library, and developing new skills. The core of the Women's Program is our weekly support group that provides a space for women to come together and work to empower themselves.

The goals of this program are:

  • To increase women's self-esteem
  • To increase women's network of social support
  • To increase women's leadership skills
  • To increase women's access to community services and resources
  • To increase women's access to information on the Internet
