Mara Martinez-Tavera

Director of Development

Mara Martinez-Tavera serves as the Director of Development at Grail Family Services (GFS). As the daughter of immigrants and a Latina raised in a small, rural town in Michigan, she understands the systemic barriers that impact access to education and resources and is passionate about advancing GFS’ mission to promote children’s success and well-being. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University and started her career in the nonprofit sector through the Americorps ACCESS Project in North Carolina.
