Maria Ornelas

Preschool Teacher

Maria was born and raised in San Jose, California. Her mission is to inspire and encourage students to
strive for greatness and to teach children through hands-on experiences to realize their full potential
and become the best they can be. Maria graduated from San Jose Community College with an Associate
of Arts degree in Child Development and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts: behavior and social
sciences. She is currently attending San Jose State University to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Child and
Adolescent development. Outside of her academic education, Maria attends early childhood education
workshops for fun and enjoys hiking.
