Vanessa Carrillo Burgos

Family Math Coordinator

Vanessa is a proud Latina who was born and raised in the East Side of San Jose. She obtained her B.A. in Public Health from the University of California, Merced after discovering a deep passion for serving her Latino/a community. Vanessa specifically focused on working at the community level in order to understand the barriers that these communities face, and to be able to provide awareness and promote health equity. Growing up, Vanessa enjoyed helping her mom at SOMOS Mayfair where she also completed an internship during her undergrad. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies and reading.
